Put this on your bucket list! This is surreal. The guides were amazing. My granddaughters boyfriend surprised her with a proposal. The guide, Henry had a special song playing in the background /he arranged to have it videod/took photos. He really help make the moment special. It was my second time to the summit. I would highly recommend Victor.
Initially my husband was skeptical that it was pricey, but at the end of the trip he felt like it was worth every penny. I read in some blog that if you had a 4 wheel drive you could go up there. But it would have been a tedious one. We started around 3:30 pm and reached our pick up point at 11:15 pm. We were very lucky to have Hunter as our tour guide, he was very informative, kept us engaging from the time we got transferred to his vehicle. We had a good food near the visitor center, which was closed for reconstruction at that time. We stayed there for sunset and it was pure bliss. I was scared it was cloudy that day. Never did I know we were gonna go above the clouds. We them spent time watching the stars and taking endless number of pictures. They also provided snacks and hot chocolate at the summit. It was a truly breath taking experience ( I mean literally too)
