About this activity
This morning 4-hour, small-group wild dolphin swim adventure departs Keahou Harbor at 8am in safe Willard Navy Seals boats. On this trip, see the dolphins energy and curiosity towards humans. Afterward, enjoy a quiet and relaxing snorkel in the Kealakekua reserve, often called the best snorkeling spot in all Hawaii, and only accessible by boat (or a very long hike). In season, look for other natural sea creatures such as whales and sea turtles.
Because this charter limits customers to six per boat, there is plenty of room, plenty of individual attention, and plenty of time to ensure that you can get to everything and still have time to relax. These tours have something for the entire family, and are guaranteed to leave you longing to come back.
Itinerary:
8 a.m. The 1st Aid/CPR trained crew will provide detailed safety instructions, before heading south from Keauhou Harbor in search of Hawaii's famous spinner dolphins
Swim with Dolphins:
8:30 a.m. - 10 a.m. After finding a pod of wild dolphins, you'll be able to slowly approach them. If they feel bothered, they can be gone in a flash! Dolphins are very curious and may swim over to look at you. They are particularly drawn towards children.
Explore the Coast
10 a.m. Head south along the Kona Coast to explore sea caves en route to Kealakekua Bay. The captain or guide will point out interesting facts about the unique coastline of Hawaii. You might be able to enter a grotto, waves and weather permitting.
Kealakekua Bay
10:45 a.m. Enjoy snorkeling in Kealakekua Bay, one of the best snorkel spots in all of Hawaii with calm and clear water and fish everywhere.

Depart Kealakekua Bay
