Private Tour: Rural Mekong Delta from Ho Chi Minh City

Begin your day tour with pickup from your Ho Chi Minh City hotel in the morning for departure straight to Ben Tre, crossing the Rach Mieu Bridge, the longest bridge in the area, covering two branches of the Tien River.

From there, board a small boat to continue your journey. At a fruit garden, you will be welcomed by local people upon arrival and have the chance to taste tropical seasonal fruits. Then visit an orchid garden where rare orchids are grown and you can taste some honey tea.

Take another boat ride to a floating fish farm to experience more of rural life on the Mekong Delta, and head next to a candy workshop to taste coconut candy, a product unique to Ben Tre. Then, hop on your motor cart or bicycle (depending on your preference designated when booking) for about 40 minutes to explore countryside roads. During your ride, observe a bit of daily life, and enjoy some coconut juice. Then head to a local restaurant for a traditional Vietnamese lunch before rowing back to the mainland to visit a well-known pagoda.
