Basket Boat and Fishing Excursion from Hoi An

You will be picked up from your hotel at 8:00am or 1:30pm, depending on your selection, by an air-conditioned minivan and transfer to the local fishing village. From here, you will board the boat and commence your cruise on the Cua Dai River. Learn about the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, their families and the community while cruising and join a local fisherman on the river to enjoy a hands-on experience of round net and cast net fishing. See the Thung Chai basket boat dancing and even learn to paddle these unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats and join in on a basket boat race.

Around 10am, explore the now tranquil waterways and hear of the extreme conditions endured by soldiers on both sides. After, get back onboard and enjoy lunch with a cold soft drink or beer. The cruise will continue and end around 12:30pm to 1pm where you will return to your hotel by minivan.
