Full Day Jeep Tours Hoi An - Bho Hoong and Co Tu Villages (Private tour)

Today’s tour will begin at 08:00. Slip away from the crowds and into the central Vietnam highlands to the Truong Son Mountain range on this Hoi An jeep tour. Climb into an open-air, fully-renovated American war-era jeep and set off on a memorable adventure.

Leave from the flatlands of Hoi An and climb into higher elevations. Vibrant greens of rice paddies and vivid blues of clear skies pass by as the jeep makes its way to hillside tea plantations. Take a tour through the plantation and step back in time- the agricultural techniques used here have remained unchanged over the centuries.

Back in the jeeps, continue winding over rural roads and through the woods to Bho Hoong Village. Home to the Co Tu people, Bho Hoong is one of the few remaining hill tribe villages in Central Vietnam and offers a unique opportunity to experience the lifestyles of an ancient culture. Meet the warm, friendly Co Tu, explore the village and stilted houses and get a glimpse of daily life here in Bho Hoong. Around midday, stop a local house for a simple lunch prepared by the village at the community house. Descending the mountain and arrive at the home of a local Co Tu family where houses Co Tu woodcarvings and other items of cultural significance. Return to the road and cruise back down to Hoi An by jeep, with the afternoon light casting different hues across the morning’s landscapes. Reach Hoi An just in time for sunset. (L)
