Pass By: Hoi An Ancient Town, Hoi An 560000 Vietnam

Start 6:00: A local tour guide and vehicle picks you up at your hotel and drives to Cua Dai dock, where you will take a boat trip bound for Duy Hai village. Here you will see fishermen bringing in their catch from a night at sea, and the women going about their work of preparing tempting seafood including eel, catfish, and even iridescent shark. The boat then traverses up the river where many locals trawl with their hanging fish nets. Shortly after you will arrive at Hoi An dock, where you can walk to Hoi An market, the biggest market in town. Morning is the busiest time, however the Hoianian goes the whole day; imbibing in breakfast before going to work, continually, people from the surrounding areas nearby bring their product for trading.

Next you take a stroll to the old town and join the locals in a small house for breakfast, then move to Lac Vien cafe located inside an ancient house in a small lane. Here you can enjoy home-made coffee and discover why many locals have had coffee there every morning for more than 20 years before going to work. A vehicle will pick you up and transfer you back to the hotel to complete your trip.
