After a quick breakfast, we are heading to the Tra Que Vegetables Village. Located 3 kilometers away from the downtown, with the local cottages gently embraced by vast rice paddy fields and tranquil lakes, this village is widely considered as the most beautiful rural area in Vietnam. Because no chemicals are used in farming process, all of vegetables and herbs are totally fresh and clean. That’s why the Tra Que is well-known as the most famous organic vegetables village in Vietnam. From the early morning, bunches of veggies were harvested and quickly delivered to local markets and restaurants. Gradually, they become indispensable ingredients served in every dish throughout Vietnam, not just in Hoi An.

Leaving the Tra Que Village, we are going to the Cam Kim Island on which there are a lot of famous traditional handicraft workshops. The carpentry village which was formed in the 15th century and very famous for its sculpture works and talented carpenters will be our 1st stop. Almost all Hoi An ancient architecture were made by this village’s ancestors with their skills and creativity.
After that, we visit the Fishing Village where you will experience the daily life of a typical fisherman, learn how to lift the big fishing net out of the water and how to catch fish by the local traditional way. Then, we are going to the Shipyard before moving to the Tra Nhieu Village to see the traditional rice paper workshop, artisanal weaving mattress shop, and local coffee factory.
During the tour, you also have a chance to learn several fishing techniques and how to paddle the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats while weaving around the coconut-palm canal for sightseeing. You will be enthusiastically welcomed, well instructed how to catch crabs and especially absolutely amazed with the attractive performances of high-speed rowing basket boats by the local rowers.
Finally, we will have lunch right in the water-coconut jungle (Morning option). In case, you choose the Afternoon Option: We will have lunch in the Tra Que Vegetables Village.
The tour will be ended about 01:00PM or 06:00PM, depends on the option you choose!!!
