Hong Kong Nature Tour: Ponds and Waterfalls

After meeting at Tai Po Market MTR station we take transport to the Bride's Pool area, to see two of Hong Kong's best waterfalls: the Bride's Pool fall and the Mirror Pool fall.

After that, walk to Wang Chung stream, the main part of this tour. This is a river trek, so requires some scrambling over rocks, but no need for rock climbing skills or the use of ropes. It is a very scenic river, with ponds and waterfalls making up for most of the length of it.
At the end of our river trek there are some larger ponds. There is no need to get wet on this trip, but after the climb in the summer heat these ponds are mighty tempting, and indeed they do provide some great swimming opportunities.

Finally, you will walk down the mountain via a well maintained dirt path back to the starting point of the hike, where you will catch transport back to the urban areas.
