An off-road tour with Gazelle Crossover to Om Dalfa & Mons Claudianus Safari would be an incredible way to explore the rugged landscape and experience the picturesque desert scenery of Om Dalfa bounded by the magnificent Mountains and water springs. Setting off from the city in a 4x4 vehicle, this tour will take you along the meandering mountain trails, leading to the Mons Claudianus Heritage city which was a Roman quarry in the eastern desert of Egypt. It consisted of a garrison, a quarrying site, and civilian and workers' quarters. Granodiorite was mined for the Roman Empire where it was used as a building material.

the excavation of Mons Claudianus by the Romans occurred through two centuries, from the 1st century AD to the mid-3rd century AD. There is no evidence of settlements near or at the quarry prior to the Roman settlement. The arid conditions of the desert allowed the documents and organic remains to survive.
You’ll further come across Om Dalfa Bedouin village where are monuments, and water springs is used for irrigation and drinking.
