Oqaatsut - Rodebay - Settlement Visit

About this activity
We set out from Ilulissat Harbour, and turn the boat northbound. We cruise among icebergs, and maybe whales, passing by some other boats - maybe fishermen.
We come past a bay called Bredebugt just north of town. From here we continue north towards the old settleemtn Oqaatsut. The place where also called Rodebay, or Red Bay, by dutch whalers, who painted the bay red with blood from whales some 200 years ago.
We dock in Oqaatsut, and then do a short walk together in the settlement. We talk about life here, and the daily lives of the 40 inhabitants.
After the walk in the settlement, it is time to go back to the boat. We the start up and head back to Ilulissat.
If we see whales on the way we will of course make stops at your liking.
We will dock in ilulissat at the same place as we departed.
