Board the cogwheel train in Grindelwald, and savor the excitement as you ride up through the Swiss Alps along the Kleine Scheidegg pass, admiring the triple peaks of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau on the way. When you reach the top, you’re officially at the highest railway station in Europe!
Stop At: Jungfraujoch, 3818 Grindelwald, Switzerland
Amidst a stunning high-Alpine wonderland of ice, snow and rock, you’ll be amazed by the panoramic views from the Sphinx Observation Terrace. Spot Aletsch Glacier, Europe's longest glacier covering some 66 square miles (171 sq km), and see the snowcapped peaks of neighboring countries. Then walk through the tunnels of the Ice Palace, located in the heart of the glacier for a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
After your Top of Europe adventure, board the cogwheel train for your descent down the mountains. Pass the holiday resort town of Wengen before arriving in Lauterbrunnen, where the coach awaits you for the return trip to Interlaken.

Our trip to the Jungfraujoch was fantastic. We had the perfect weather. The views are breathtaking. Our guide was knowledgeable and the tour was explained in Spanish, English and German. Some remarks I would make are the following: The meeting point in Interlaken was not very clear, the bathroom situation in Interlaken and on top was rather nasty even though on our day the crowed was not at its maximum. We understand that everything has to be brought up to the Jungfraujoch but for the price we paid we expected a bit more cleanliness. As a Swiss citizen, I wish we can do better.
Great fun. Be prepared for lots of people and time spent on trains but amazing views and worth the trip.

An amazing day and an amazing trip! We celebrated our 35th Wedding Anniversary on the top of Europe! The beautiful green valleys approaching the Alps and the snow white Alpine peaks were majestic. Our tour guide something like Anti but I forget her name was constantly sharing information in three languages, kept us all together, and pointed out upcoming sites so we could get our cameras ready. She was a wonderful tour guide. The trip itself was one of the highlights of our trip to Europe. We loved Switzerland, the Alps, the Sunny B and B that we stayed at in Interlaken, the food and drinks, and the hosts at the B and B. Overall, a wonderful three days and we will definitely return someday.
Great tour guide. Figure about 50% of time visibility might be a factor and could ruin your experience. do some research prior to booking
We had a great time and our guides were fantastic. They were knowledable about the glacier and mountains and knew other interesting facts. The glacier was amazing to see!
Well run, everything on time despite large group, lots of info from friendly guide, top of Europe was amazing, choose your weather, our day was beautiful which helped, its expensive but the transport is complicated and the tour meant no/low stress.
Good tour. Long one and can get tiring though. But if you need to get to the top of europe you need to put some effort. This trip is amazing..!
