About this activity
Paraglide in the Swiss Alps and enjoy stunning alpine scenery. Each trip require only 60-90 minutes to complete, with about 10 to 20 minutes of airtime.
Starting in Interlaken you will be picked up from your accommodation or the train station or anywhere else locally as agreed. Then, after an approximately 20-minute drive up along a very pretty road overlooking Lake Thun, you will arrive ate the alpine village of Beatenberg . Enjoy increasing views of the surrounding mountains as you climb your way to take off! On our journey your friendly pilot will explain what to expect, what you can do to help, answer any questions you may have, and entertain!
At take-off your pilot will prepare the wing, fit you with your harness, give you a flying jacket and gloves if required and perform a final safety check before guiding you along the few running steps down the take off slope. And that's it! You are in the air!
Sit back, relax. Your hands are free! Your feet are dangling in the wind and your mind is filled with sensation of flight! Now look around and gasp and the breathtaking scenery. Your pilot is right there, behind you. Chat away while they expertly maneuver the paraglider to ensure you maximize your airtime and fun.
High above the landing zone your pilot will ask you if you would like to enjoy some aerial tricks. Say yes and roller coaster your way to earth. You wont want it to stop! Coming into land now and with a clever maneuver your pilot will slow the paraglider down so that touchdown will feel like jogging down two or thee steps. Easy!
