Day 2: Istanbul Old City
Stop At: Blue Mosque, Sultanahmet Mah At Meydani Cad No 7, Istanbul 34122 Turkey
After breakfast, you enjoy a fully guided tour of the only city to span two continents, visiting the Blue Mosque, St. Sophia Museum, Topkapi Palace, the Hippodrome and the Grand Bazaar. Tonight don't miss the optional Turkish Folklore evening.

Day 3: Ankara, Cappadocia
Stop At: Anitkabir, Mebusevleri Mh. Akdeniz Caddesi Yucetepe, Ankara 06570 Turkey
After breakfast, drive to the nation's capital, Ankara, visit the Mausoleum of Turkey's first President, Ataturk and learn a little about why he is so revered in this country. With Ankara behind us, we head for the surreal, lunar-like landscape of Cappadocia.

Day 4: Goreme, Underground city
Stop At: Goreme National Park, Goreme Turkey
Today we tour the Goreme open-air museum, Pasabag, Uchisar castle and one of the area's fascinating underground cities, home to early Christians who hid underground from Roman persecution. Photo opportunities are everywhere so have your cameras ready! Tonight, don't miss the optional Turkish folkdance evening featuring folk and belly dancers... a night you won't forget!

Day 5: Konya, Caravansary
Stop At: Caravanserai, Konya Turkey
Leaving Cappadocia we head west along the old Silk Road for the stunning Aegean Coast. We take time out along the way to visit Sultanhani Caravansary and the Mevlana Whirling Dervish Museum in Konya

Day 6: Pamukkale, Hierapolis
Stop At: Pamukkale Thermal Pools, Pamukkale Turkey
This morning we will visit the magnificent white calcium terraces, known as the Travertines, in Pamukkale where we also tour the ancient city of Hierapolis. Take a dip, amongst ancient columns, in the hot springs that were used in Roman times for their therapeutic powers. Then head for Kusadasi where will enjoy a display of locally handcrafted leather goods.

Day 7: Ephesus
Stop At: Ephesus Museum, Selcuk Turkey
Absorb yourself in history today with a guided tour of Ephesus and a visit to the site of the Temple of Artemis. Feel the mystical atmosphere of the ancient city and theatre. Carpet weaving has long traditions in Turkey and at a carpet village we learn how carpets are made by hand and what determines their value.

Day 8: Pergamum
Stop At: Ruins of Pergamum, 8 km (5 mi) from Bergama, Bergama Turkey
Today we step back in time as we visit tour the magnificent acropolis of Pergamum. Its impressive temples and library made Pergamum a renowned cultural and political center in its time.

Day 9: Troy
Stop At: Troy (Truva), Tevfikiye Koyu, Intepe, Canakkale Turkey
Early today we tour Homer's famous Troy, home of the famed Trojan Horse. We then cross the Dardanelles and the remainder of the evening is free until we head to the Dawn Service site as soon as it is opened to the public. Here we will spend the night in nervous anticipation of the Dawn Service at 5:30 a.m.

Day 10: ANZAC Day at Gallipoli
Stop At: Gallipoli Battlefield, Eceabat Turkey
Awake before sun rise for the ANZAC Day Dawn Service. We become aware of the almost deafening silence as the moving service to commemorate our fallen forefathers on this special day begins. You will then have the chance to attend the Australian or New Zealand Memorial service before a late afternoon drive back to Istanbul.
