2-Day Bus Tour of Cappadocia from Istanbul

Itinerary

Day 1: Day 01: First Day in Cappadocia: (Refreshments at the hotel, and lunch on the tour)

Stop At: Pasabag, Urgup Turkey
When you arrive at the Cappadocia bus station you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel for some refreshment. The tour begins at about 09:30AM, departing from the hotel. You’ll head to the Devrent Valley where the landscape will remind you of something from another planet! In Pasabagi, you'll take a guided walk to see Cappadocia’s amazing fairy chimneys.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Peri Bacalari, Avanos 1, Avanos Turkey
Next on the itinerary is a drive to Avanos, where you’ll have lunch. After lunch you’ll continue on to the Goreme Open Air Museum to see the rock-cut churches and beautiful frescoes. Afterwards you’ll drive to Uchisar Castle, the highest point in the region, to admire the panoramic views over Cappadocia. Return to the hotel at around 17:30. Overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 2: DAY 2 CAPPADOCIA

Stop At: Pigeon Valley, Uchisar KasabasI Nevşehir Kapadokya, Goreme 50240 Turkey
You’ll leave your hotel at around 09:30 on a 2.5-mile hike through the Rose Valley, stopping to visit churches along the way. Afterwards you’ll visit the old Christian village of Cavusin. Enjoy lunch in Pigeon Valley before you explore the Kaymakli underground city.

Also on the itinerary is a stop at the natural rock formation know as Ortahisar Castle. At 21:00 you’ll depart Cappadocia on the overnight bus to Istanbul, arriving at Istanbul’s bus station at 07:00 the next morning.
