About this activity

Your crew will be ready and waiting as you board your personal yacht at either 9am or 11am from the Kabatas Pier in central Istanbul for your 6-hour private cruise. Your trip is fully customizable – just let your skipper know where you'd like to visit – but you may wish to follow the itinerary below.

Start with a classic cruise past some of Istanbul's most stunning waterfront palaces, bridges, and mosques along both the European and Asian shores of the Bosphorus Strait: keep your eyes peeled for skyline icons like the Blue Mosque.

As you sail through leafy Beykoz with its tranquil bays and creeks, and pretty historic houses, you may wish to opt for a refreshing swim, or try your hand at reeling in a fish: your yacht comes equipped with rods and lines.

The pretty fishing village of Anadolu Kavagi, in the shadow of a medieval fortress, certainly repays a visit. Set foot on the continent of Asia, and enjoy a typical village lunch (own expense), or climb to the hill-top castle for panoramic views of the Black Sea and the Bosphorus.

Look out for dolphins as you glide around the uninhabited headland with its pretty coves lined with wildflowers and forest towards Poyrazkoy, a fishing village close to the point where the Bosphorus flows into the Black Sea. Enjoy the chance for more fishing or another refreshing swim in one of the secluded coves, or simply lounge on deck, before returning to Istanbul relaxed and refreshed. You'll dock at either 3pm or 5pm.

You'll need to walk a few paces and climb two steps to board the yacht. After that passengers may remain seated comfortably throughout the cruise
Collapsible wheelchairs can be accommodated, providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them to board and disembark - refer to previous note regarding boarding access
Unless cancelled by the vessel's captain due to weather conditions, mechanical problems or other factors, cruises take place rain or shine.
We reserve the right to add, withdraw, substitute and/or vary advertised routes, prices, departure times, yachts, and locations without notice if considered necessary for the safety and welfare of the vessel, its passengers, and crew. Occasionally a similar yacht of the same of higher standard may be substituted. However, reasonable effort will be made to maintain arrangements.
