Superb trip and guide. The Grand Bazaar was closed for the holiday, but Filize added a drive through another part of town which was great. Filize was a great, great guide--answering all our questions and showing us a great day.
Fantastic!! We got a private tour guide and chauffeur all to ourselves. Suleymaniye Mosque is greatly underrated by many tour companies but we thought it was grandiose in a humble sort of way difficult to explain, i guess you just have to go and see for yourself. Then Topkapi Palace. Although we have been there before, we saw places that we hadn't seen before which were really interesting and the guide was really good explaining everything and it was great because we could ask about things without having to shout from the back of a huge group. Skip the line entrance to the Basilica Cisterns - cool !! Lunch was great although my kids may not agree with me a good spread of Turkish food to feast on. Then off to the Grand Bazaar. An exotic experience bursting with colour and spice fragrances. I wouldn't buy too much there though, you can probably get better value in many of the shops outside the touristy areas. Overall - excellent, would go again tomorrow if I could and very highly recommended too !!!!!
