On the Asian side, we first make our way to Kuzguncuk. Kuzguncuk is a small, old neighborhood of Istanbul along the Bosphorus between Uskudar and Beylerbeyi. It has a long past with the multi-cultural texture of the city. Kuzguncuk attracts attention with the architecture of its houses.

Second stop of Istanbul Asian Side Explorer Tour is Beylerbeyi Palace. Beylerbeyi Palace is another 19th century Ottoman Palace along the Bosphorus. The palace was used as a summer residence by the royalty and a guest house for dignitaries.

Avoiding crowds and much of Istanbul’s morning traffic, we make our way to Camlica Hill. Camlica Hill is one of Istanbul’s favourite panoramic spots. It was used as a vacation resort for Ottoman Sultans like Mahmud II. You will be amazed by the beauty of the Bosphorus and the size of Istanbul!

Next, we go to Kadikoy. On the way we will stop by the iconic Maiden’s Tower to take some famous photos of Istanbul.

Whilsts in Kadıköy, you have plenty of options for lunch. After lunch, we begin exploring Kadikoy and it’s popular center, colorful streets and next door districts. You will be amazed to see the multicultural background of Kadikoy and Istanbul. After a short walk we reach Yeldegirmeni (Windmill) neighborhood to discover the Mural Art. A mural is any piece of artwork painted or applied directly on a wall, ceiling or other permanent surface. Municipality of Kadikoy organises Mural Art Festival giving visitors opportunity to explore new murals each year.

Our final stop of Istanbul Asian Side Explorer tour is Moda neighborhood. Distinguishable even from afar with its unique geography, Cape Moda on the Marmara Sea with a hill behind it as a backdrop has one of the most beautiful landscapes of Istanbul. In the late 19th century, intellectual artists and scientists among the Ottoman elite began to live in Moda neighborhood, along with a population of Levantine settlers, hence there are many churches and foreign schools in this district. Still preferred by many members of the intellectual and art scene of Istanbul, Moda experiences influxes of visitors from different places on weekends.
