About this activity
Your tour guide will meet you at your pick-up location, where you will be briefed about the tour and Ephesus and be on your way. One of first stops is the Temple of Artemis, where you will spend 10 to 15 minutes.
Your next stop is at the gate of Ephesus ruins, which you will explore with your guide. Some of the highlights in the ruins are the Hadrian Temple, Celsus Library, and the Grand Theater. While exploring Ephesus, you will enter the terrace houses, and you will be able to experience the daily life of ancient Ephesians.
After Ephesus, you will spend some time at the House of Virgin Mary. See the actual room where the Virgin Mary is believed to have slept, then have a lunch break in a local restaurant with traditional Turkish food.
At he end of your day, drive back to your original location with your guide. Because this is a private tour, your program can be customized, depending on your timing as you wish with your guide.
