The Manuel Antonio National park is part of a nationwide conservation effort and is deemed protected forest; the nearby areas are surrounded by African oil palms, jungle and the vast Pacific Ocean. This park represents a remaining patch of humid rainforest with large trees and complex vegetation.

Its marine ecosystems are 3 white sandy beaches with tidal pools, many colorful fish remain even after the high tide has pasted. It’s a fun opportunity to explore for crabs, fish, sea shells, sea cucumbers and maybe a small octopus.
