Day 1: Jaipur - Ranthambhore (3 Hrs Drive) & Afternoon Jungle Safari
Stop At: Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve, Ranthambore road, Sawai Madhopur 322001 India
Begin the trip with a pick-up at 8am from your hotel or other desired location in Jaipur and drive 3hrs to Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve. Upon arrival in Ranthambhore, check-in to your Jungle Resort.
Enjoy lunch at your Jungle Resort and later this afternoon set off on a game drive in Tiger Reserve in a Shared Jeep.
The park is home to abundant wildlife and protected tigers. The park itself consists of 400 square kilometres of dry deciduous forest (once a part of the magnificent jungles of Central India), which is an excellent natural habitat for tigers. Apart from the tigers you can get a glimpse of the Sambar, Chital, Nilgai, Gazzelle, Boars, Mongoose and Indian Hare. Besides this there is also an abundance of reptiles and snakes. You can see the Monitor Lizards in the forests of Ranthambore. Evening Dinner at your Jungle Resort.

Early this morning, enjoy a second game drive in the park in a Shared Jeep in search of tigers. After the safari back to the hotel and enjoy your breakfast. Later check out and travel overland to Jaipur. Upon arrival in Jaipur get dropped off at your desired location in Jaipur.

- Wear colors that blend with the forest - khaki, brown and olive green are ideal colors to wear in a national park. Animals might get frightened when they see bright colors since they are not used to them.

We had a wonderful time on our Ranthambhore tiger tour! The tour company was professional to deal with, and everything went smoothly and seamlessly from start to finish. We were picked up at our hotel in Jaipur and taken by car to our hotel in Ranthambhore, where our guide greeted us and made sure that everything went smoothly with check-in. The hotel was a beautiful resort close to the park entrance. The hotel, the Ranthambhore Resort, was like an oasis for us--a serene, green, comfortable hotel away from the craziness of the city. My husband and I loved the hotel so much, we decided to extend our stay after the morning safari tour to relax by the pool! Our meals were included in the price of the tour, and the hotel served lovely meals in the dining area. The staff at the hotel was attentive and professional, and they ensured that our stay was comfortable. Tip: there's a small gift shop at the hotel and they sew women's dresses to order. You pick out the fabric and the tailor takes your measurements. He sewed my dress in a number of hours and I was so pleased with it that I ordered a second. They're beautiful dresses and tailored perfectly! We had two safari tours, as described in our package, one in the evening and one in the morning. Our safari tour was in a 6-person Jeep, called a gypsy, and we were lucky enough to see a tiger feeding on its kill on the first outing. It was quite a sight!! You definitely want to be in the open-air Jeep as opposed to a 20-person caravan, so I was very happy that the tour company had booked us seats in the Jeep. All in all, we had a fabulous time and I highly recommend this tour company. They took care of everything and ensured that we had a wonderful time!!
