Pass By: Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind, Hawa Mahal Tripolia Bazaar Road Badi Choupad, Jaipur 302002 India
Be collected in early evening at 5:30pm from your Jaipur hotel and transferred to Chokhi Dhani, located 30km (18miles) from the city on Tonk Road, arriving at approximately 6:30pm.
Normally, when one thinks of Rajsthan, they think of a state of kings, a place of snake charmers, and an emerging handicraft's industry. But at this village the real Rajasthan lives on in the paintings, the Bani Thani art, the wall decorations, and the cow dung plaster. It lives on in the food, the fresh air, the evening performances, the enthusiasm, the 'manuhar' (mouthful catering), the traditions, the costumes, and last but not least, the heart.
At Chokhi Dhani it's all there for you. The aim is to preserve and encourage the village art and culture, to get today's generation closer to their past, to change the philosophy of the world about Indian village culture.
Explore the village on your own until approximately 7pm when you'll have dinner at a Chokhi Dhani restaurant (included) before departing for your accommodation in Jaipur.
Note: this is a self-guided tour, however, the driver can provide some information on activities and points of interest in the village.

Did The Half Day Chokhi Dhani Ethnic Village Tour with my family on 15th June 2018. The tour Operator Raj was very prompt in sending me a Whatsapp message with the details of driver and vehicle. The vehicle was neat and equipped with Wifi. The driver Sanju was very courteous and knowledgeable. The Chokhi Dhani visit was very good in that we could get the feel of Rajasthani village life as well as the culture and tradition of the state. You have to enjoy the hospitality of the place to believe it. To top it all the Vegetarian thali served was out of the world. I have no hesitation in recommending this tour to one and all.
