Amber Fort is located on the hill and is a prime tourist attraction. This fort is located in Amer, a town originally built by Meenas but later ruled by Raja Man Singh I. The fort overlooks Maota Lake, a lake that is the primary source of water for the palace. This beautiful palace is constructed of red sandstone and marble.

City Palace was the ceremonial and administrative seat of Maharaja of Jaipur until 1949. The palace has several buildings, courtyards, and gardens with two of the main palaces Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal.

When capital shifted from Agra to Delhi, Shah Jahan constructed Red Fort in 1939 it was the main residence of the Mughal Dynasty and is located in the city center. It is made from red sandstone and that is where it gets its name from. It became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007.

Stop At: Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid), 6 km North of Connaught Pl. across from Lal Qila, New Delhi India
One of the largest mosques in the country, Jama Masjid is made up of red sandstone and marble. It was constructed by Shah Jahan and is visited by hundreds of people every day. The courtyard of the mosque can accommodate about 25,000 people and was built for about one million Indian Rupees.
