In the evening transfer to Jakarta old town, often called Batavia town. Drive through the Chinatown area known as Glodok. We’ll stroll through the traditional market in alley where you’ll find everything from Chinese style, to fresh vegetables and local fruits. Next stop to Red Shop & Draw bridge is a Dutch colonial landmark in Jakarta Old Town, Built in 1730. was made of wood and equipped with leverage to get the lower side of the bridge up when there was ship or boat passed by to warehouse.
Next drive to reach the Sunda Kelapa harbor. This 500-year-old harbor area was a vital link to the markets of the outside world in the 15th century kingdom of Pajajaran. it is a bustling historical site where traditional wooden phinisi schooners are docked and still ply the seas between the islands.Afterwards to Fatahillah Square in the Old Town area, former city hall (Stat Huis) during the Dutch settlement. Dinner at Cafe Batavia, a 200 year old building making it the second oldest building in Jakarta after the Fatahillah Museum. Step into the 19th century of Jakarta during the colonial era as you sit by the window overlooking the city hall. Back to your hotel.
