Start your flight from Skeerpoort in the Magalies River Valley, in the World Heritage Cradle of Humankind, an area steeped in natural history, beauty and boasting arguably the best ballooning weather in the world. A traditionally exquisite and beautifully appointed Clubhouse Pavilion and Restaurant awaits you at the launch site, providing ambient shelter and affording you the opportunity to freshen up in stylish facilities prior to the flight.

Having watched the balloons being set up under floodlights against a backdrop of the Magaliesburg mountains and with a cup of coffee to counter the early start, you prepare for take off and board the balloon. Whether in one of the three biggest balloons, each able to carry up to eighteen passengers, or in the smaller craft, the silent ascent and gentle flight punctuated only by the burners and some informative (and amusing) commentary from your highly experienced and fully qualified pilot, makes for an incredible and unforgettable experience.

A fully licensed retrieval vehicles, which have been following you on the ground whilst you have been enjoying your flight, will collect you upon landing and a professional and efficient crew pack away the balloon whilst you toast your time spent in the heavens with a glass of South African Champagne. You are then returned to the comfort of the Clubhouse Pavilion and Restaurant where an exclusive catering team will have prepared a delicious full English breakfast, and where you will be awarded a Citation for braving the African skies.
