About this activity
DAY 1: You will be picked up from your Johannesburg, Pretoria Hotels or OR Tambo International Airport by a professional guide in a luxury air conditioned vehicle at 8 am
Your itinerary will be as follows:

Tour of Nelson Mandela house

Drive past Bishop Tutu's house
•
A stop at Hector Peterson Museum
•
Drive past soccer city stadium and Soweto Tower
•
A Full Apartheid Museum Tour

A drive through Johannesburg inner city - including Hillbow

DAY 2: Your guide will pick you up from your hotel for a 2 hour drive to Pilanesberg National Park. The relatively small size of the park, and its unusual ecological richness, dramatically increase your chance of encountering the Big 5 in their natural environment.
You will be given an option to choose between an open vehicle or closed vehicle safari.
Your Safari will begin as soon as you enter the park. Your driver/guide will use their knowledge to navigate through the park, hitting different roads, trails and visiting various water holes to maximize your chance of seeing illusive animals such as leopards, cheetahs, lions and hyenas.
Duration of the morning drive will be about 3 hours with stops for restrooms, refreshments and to stretch legs. This will be followed by a delicious lunch at one of the restaurants in the park ( lunch and soft drinks included on the price).
Once you are ready to leave your driver will get on the road for another 2 hours and drop you off at your hotel or airport.
