Day1. Next continue through the olive groves & Peloponnese sea views to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Sanctuary of Asklepios first healing center of the Ancient world and home to the Theater of Epidaurus with its amazing acoustics. Break for lunch by the sea in Medieval Nafplion before the UNESCO site of Mycenae where you will enter through its gigantic cyclopedian walls towards the palace of Agamemnon, leader of the Greeks against the Trojans, view the famous Beehive tombs & its wonderful modern museum before our final stop at the village of Olympia.

Day2. The day starts exploring magical Olympia with plenty of time to enjoy its extensive site. Famous for its Olympic Games of antiquity you will see the places where the original athletes trained and learned and go through the tunnel to emerge in the stadium in which they competed. You will also see the Temple of Zeus which held one of the ancient wonders of the world, and Temple of Hera where the Olympic Flame is lit, visit the workshop of Phidias, and the wonderful Archaeological Museum. In the afternoon we head along the Peloponnese coastline and over the stunning Rio-Antirio suspension bridge to the village of Delphi and slopes of Mt Parnassus.

Day3. A day dedicated to exploring the UNESCO world heritage site of Delphi. Rich in Mythology & history and center of the ancient Greek world as designated by Zeus, Delphi was also famed through its Oracle, home to the god and Temple of Apollo, and through its Pythian games, a forerunner of the modern Olympics. The importance of the site extended both long before the classic Greece period & also past it when Roman emperors protected the site and continued to send delegations to seek the oracle's advice until the third century AD. During your visit you will see the physical structures remaining with this incredibly long history, and learn about their rich mythology. You will also have plenty of time to visit the impressive museum to see its many artifacts from as far back as the 15th century BC. Highlights include the Naxian Sphinx, statue of Antinoos, and the bronze sculpture of a charioteer.
