You will visit the archaeological site of Kerameikos, a magical place in the northwest corner of ancient Athens. You will tour the largest cemetery of ancient Athens with the masterful tombstones and workshops of the coppersmiths and pottery craftsmen of antiquity. You will walk to the level of classical times next to the bed of Iridanos river and the ancient wall passing through the most official gate of the city.

Going up the hill of Agoraios Kolonos you will see one of the best preserved Doric temples of the Greek antiquity, also known as “Thissio” (Temple of Hephaestus and Athena Erganis). You will be astonished by the panoramic view of the Agora and the Acropolis, experiencing the atmospheric aspect of Greek antiquity.

You will continue the journey by visiting the Archaeological Museum of the Ancient Agora (Stoa of Attalos) where you will focus on selected exhibits that will reveal you the most important events unfolded in the financial, administrative and religious center of ancient Athens.
