About this activity

Start with a pickup from your centrally located Athens hotel by your guide. Then, set off in search of designer jewelry, bags, traditional handicrafts and more.

With your guide leading the way, wander along scenic streets and pop into 10 independent stores. Peruse fashionable goods handmade in Greece as you learn about the products from the designers themselves (subject to their availability). Sift through colorful purses, accessories, clothes and home decor items. Sample natural cosmetics and learn about the secret ingredient honeybees provide them. Try on Greek sandals and contemporary Greek fashion trends, and discover the age-old method of loom weaving. You’ll also be able to pick up handmade souvenirs for your friends and family.

Between stores, take in the city sights and hear stories from your guide about Athens and its shopping scene. After roughly 3.5 hours, return to your your hotel. Should you wish, ask your guide for further shopping recommendations, allowing you to browse more stores on another day of your vacation.
