It’s probably the most idyllic ride you will enjoy during your stay in Athens. Driving along the coast, you will have the opportunity to see beautiful beaches, bays and sands acompanied by the great blue sky. On our arrival at Sounion, you will be speechless by the scenery. It’s located at the southernmost part of Attica, known for two reasons: Firstly, for the importance of its geographical position, since it is the spot from which Athens was able to control the sea path towards the Aigean Sea and Peiraeus. Secondly, because here we can find the ruins of the ancient Temple of Poseidon.
It’s the perfect place to enjoy the spectacular view of Saronikos and a sunset to remember for a lifetime.
