After your morning breakfast, meet and greet your guide at the hotel, thereafter start a panoramic ride south west of Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National park. You will have a stop over at the Equator for photographs; thereafter proceed, passing through the savannah grass land with the long horned Ankole cows grazing along the road. Stop over for lunch at Mbarara town and thereafter descend to the beautiful Kigezi hills commonly known as the "Switzerland of Africa". Arrival at Haven Lodge later in the evening for dinner. Have enough rest as you prepare for an adventurous Gorilla Tracking activity the next day.
Overnight at Ruhijja Gorilla Camp – Full Board.
Day3: Gorilla Tracking
Start the day with an early served breakfast as you prepare yourself for an encounter with the rare mountain gorilla. For most people this is the absolute highlight of their tour in Uganda. Drive to the starting point of the Gorilla tracking where you will receive a briefing about what will transpire during the tracking. Enter the wild gorilla sanctuary for your adventure. The time you spend searching for the Gorilla can be as short as 4 hours or as long as the 8 hours but you can only be allowed to spend a maximum of one hour observing this wild endangered species. This is the time to take photos and ask the guide any questions about the seemingly tedious yet rewarding experience.
In case you have some time after the tracking, you can conduct community walk that involves visiting the native Batwa community to have cultural experience.
Overnight at Ruhijja Gorilla Camp – Full Board.
Day 4: Bwindi to Kampala and transfer to the airport
After your breakfast, you will be transferred back to Kampala. En route to Kampala expect to take pleasure in a ride through the thrilling Kigezi hills with beautiful scenery from the "Switzerland of Africa” with numerous activities carried out by the local communities on the uplands. You will have a stop over for lunch before you proceed to Kampala. Upon arrive you will be transferred to Entebbe airport international for your international flight.
