Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival In Kathmandu and transfer to hotel

Pass By: Kathmandu, Kathmandu, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
Our representative will greet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu and accompany you to the hotel.

Day 2: Visit Swayambhunath, Boudhanath and Patan Durbar Square

Stop At: Swayambhunath Temple, Swayamhu Circle Road, Kathmandu 44620 Nepal
Swayambhunath, also known as monkey temple, is located in a small hill with lot of other small stupas. From the top of mountain, a beautiful view of Kathmandu valley can be seen.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Boudhanath Stupa, Boudh Boudha, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
Boudhanath is one of the biggest stupa in the Asia.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Patan Durbar Square, Patan (Lalitpur) 44700 Nepal
Patan Durbar Square is one of the oldest Buddhist city in the world. Patan Durbar Square is also listed in World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.
Duration: 1 hour

Day 3: Namo Buddha, Dhukikhel and Sunset at Nagarkot

Stop At: Namo Buddha (Stupa), Kathmandu Nepal
Namo Buddha is one of three main stupas in Kathmandu Valley.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Dhulikhel, Dhulikhel, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
Dhulikhel is best known for the view of mountain range.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Nagarkot, Nagarkot, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
You will observe the splendid view of sunset and sunrise of the mountains including Mount Everest as you will be staying there overnight.
Duration: 1 hour

Day 4: Visit Asura Cave, Yanglesha Cave plus Paharping

Stop At: Pharping HydroPower Dam, Setidevi-3,Kathmandu, Kathmandu 00977 Nepal
Asura Cave, a cave sacred to Guru Rinpoche, is located above the pharping village. On the entrance, there is a imprint of holy hand.
Duration: 1 hour

Yanglesho Cave, also a cave sacred to Guru Rinpoche, is cave where Guru meditated .

Pharping Village is a small village of newari community located about 16 km south of Kathmandu.
Duration: 1 hour

Day 5: Drive to Tilaurakot / Fly to Bhairahawa

Pass By: Tilaurakot, 32800, Nepal
The next location on the tour is Lumbini which is about 260 km from Kathmandu. The modes of transportation to reach there is either by vehicles such as bus, car, jeeps, etc or by means of aeroplane.

Day 6: Lumbini visit

Stop At: Maya Devi Temple, Lumbini Nepal
Maya Devi temple is the exact place where Lord Buddha was born.
Duration: 30 minutes

Holy Pond is the pristine pond where we can see the placid image of Maya Devi Temple.
Duration: 3 minutes

Ashok Pillar is the pillar formed by King Ashoka indicating this was birth palce of Buddha.

Stop At: Lumbini, Lumbini, Lumbini Zone, Western Region
Eternal lights is the flame that has been burning continuously and is believed to exist indefinitely.
Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Lumbini Monastic Site, Taulihawa Road, Lumbini 32914 Nepal
There are a lot of monasteries in the Lumbini that represent art and culture of different countries such as Myanmar, Thailand,etc.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Lumbini, Lumbini, Lumbini Zone, Western Region
Lumbini Musuem is the musuem that has the antiques from the period of the Buddha.
Duration: 1 hour

Day 7: Drive to Kathmandu via Bandipur / Fly to Kathmandu

Pass By: Bandipur, Bandipur, Gandaki Zone, Western Region
Bandipur is one of the best side if you wish to drive to Kathamandu.
Optional: If you take aeroplane, you will be picked up at the airport by our representative and transported to hotel.

Day 8: Fly back home
