Champadevi is high hill station towards south east from Kathmandu valley. It is near Chovar, Pharping and Dakchhinkali temple. Champadevi hill is one of the best hiking spots near Kathmandu to observe whole valley of Kathmandu and Himalayan views including Manaslu range, Ganesh Himala range, Langtang range and Mount Everest in clear day. Start tour after early breakfast in your hotel. It is about 27 kilometer driving.
We can continue our hike to the top. Holy temple Champadevi is on top, you can find local peoples are worshiping. Enjoy good views of valley and mountain. View from Champadevi top is better than any other hill station around Kathmandu. Hiking route is through small local village. You can find typical peoples are working as Nepali style and their typical settlement.
