About this activity
Everybody knows of mt everest and that is the simple region why the everest base camp trek is so popular. The trek has a numbers of stunning attractions ,but it also has some distinct drawbacks which might well deter potential trekkers were is not for the undeniable plus point of being able to say you have been to the highest mountain in the world. the attraction include spectacular scenery and the outgoing Sherpa people of the solu khumbu, the region where mt Everest and its attendant lesser peaks are located.
it is not until you get right into the solu khumbu region that the everest trek really gets interesting.the first part of the trek is not only a hard slog, but is also pretty sparse in the breath trekking views department ,the hard slog comes about because the trek does not follow valley like the Annapurna treks instead the everest treks cuts across the valley so for day after day it is a tiring process of dropping down one side of a steep valley and climbing up again in the other by the time you reach the base camp you're ascents will total almost 9000 meters, the full height of everest from sea level!
Everest Base Camp trekking also allows you to feel the ice cool fresh air coming direct from the Himalayas. This EBC trek is also famous to enjoy the stunning views of the 8000 plus and other Himalayas near by the trekking trail. You will amazed while gazing the white snowy giant Himalayas like Ama Dablam, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Cho Oyu, Mt. Makalu and the most amazing Mt. Everest etc.
You will trek to Kalapathar, the highest and great viewpoint to enjoy the Himalaya scenery. The viewpoint Kalapathar is also the best place to view the full picture of Mt.
