About this activity
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1320 m): Your arrival to Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), we will Pick you up from the airport and transfer to Hotel
Day 02: Flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, then trek to Phakding (2652m): 3-4 Hours: Today early in the morning, we drive about 30 minutes to Tribhuwan International Airport. After 30 minutes picturesque flight to Lukla (2804 mtrs.), we begin our trek to Phakding (2610 mtrs.) - 3 hours easy walking.
Day 03: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m): 5-6 Hours: we pass through the settlement Benkar and Monjo and eventually arrive at the check post of Sagarmatha national Park and TIMS. we walk through a beautiful pine forest. The walk leads us along the bank of the Dudhi Koshi River through many suspension bridges.
Day 4: Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar
Day 05: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3850m) By reaching Tengboche, we visit a monastery known as Tengboche monastery. Then you will be taken to observe the prayer ceremony whether in the evening or morning.
Day 06: Tengboche to Dingboche (4350 mtrs.) From Tengboche, The Trail quickly descends mostly on a rock path through a rhododendrons forest. Impressing mani wall on the path and Gompa are the main attractions along with the great view of Taboche, Mount Thamserku, Mount Ama Dablama, Mount Nuptse, Mount Cholatse, and Mount Lhotse among others.
Day 07: Dingboche to Lobuche (4950 mtrs.)Today we climb up almost 700m high. Until Duglha the trail goes gradually up. As there wouldn’t be any other settlement before Labuche we have our Lunch and be ready for the vertical up hill. Most of the people they feel this is the hardest part of the whole Everest Base camp Trek.
Day 08: Lobuche to Ghorakshep (5160 m.) - Everest Base Camp and Back to Ghorakshep Today is the main important day of Everest Base Camp Trekking, our trail to Gorakshep goes ahead through the side of the Khumbu Glacier. A small ascent would take us the Thangma Riju from where we can perceive 360 degree vista of snowcapped mountains.
Day 09: Ghorakshep to Kalapathar ( 5553 m) Trek down to Pheriche : 6-7 Hours
Day 10: Trek from Pheriche to Namche: 6-7 Hours
Day 11: Trek from Namche to Lukla: 6-7 Hours
Day 12: Morning flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla
