- The region shelters endangered animals such as the snow leopard and red pandas. You are likely to encounter with blue sheep, Himalaya Thar, langur monkeys and yaks
- A hidden gem here is the Tsum Valley. Really worth a visit
- Walking through tropical green hills covered with pine, juniper and deciduous forests
- Local culture, tradition and way of living in Buddhist philosophy are the major highlights of this trek.
- Walking boots. A pair of water repellent boots with ankle support.
- Gaiters. A pair used to keep boots dry if walking through deep snow.

- Trainers or trail shoes. Can be used in and around lodge in the afternoons/evenings.

- Sunscreen and lip salve with a high SPF.
- Water purification tablets (Pristine, BioxAcqua or Acqa Mira).

- Duffle bag or large backpack for your personal gear on the trek (carried by a porter). Bring a small combination padlock to secure the bag.
- Travel clothes. You will need casual clothing for air travel days and time spent in Kathmandu.
- Toiletry bag include toilet paper, soap, towel, toothbrush, etc.
- Note: we provide a comprehensive group first aid kit but please bring personal medications and other items you might use regularly such as:
- Any personal medications.
- Malaria prophylactic tablets.
- Blister treatment (Compeed patches are the best).
- Rehydration powder eg Dioralyte.
- Analgesics (paracetamol, ibuprofen and aspirin).
- Plasters and zinc oxide tape.
- Throat lozenges.
- Diamox (helps with acclimatization).

- Tipping is a nice way of saying thank-you and appreciating to crew members (leader, guide, cooks, porter) who will play a vital role in your trekking experience. We will suggest and encourage you to be generous about tipping they have done for you. The recommended amount for trekking guide is Rs. 400/ day and for Porter Rs. 200/ day by each client.
