My tour of Bhaktapur with Mark Markendeya was great! He was an excellent tour guide and it was good to get out of Kathmandu for the afternoon. Mark took me throughout the back streets of the city stopping at various temples and other sights. He provided information on the history of each location and about the region in general. We ended the tour in the main square, which was less affected by the earthquake than in Kathmandu. I really liked the private tours available on Viator because I had flexibility to spend extra time in areas where I was most interested and less in others. There were also no forced stops at markets. Mark was very flexible in what we saw and the pace of the tour. I would definitely recommend this tour to others.
