Starting for the small Newari village of Sakhu, the trail takes to the naturally mesmerizing Nagarkot. Along the way, you get to observe holy pilgrimages and beautiful landscapes.

Sakhu is a newar village which holds the medieval values and cultures and stands as a pilgrimage for many Hindus. Nagarkot on the other hand is a popular tourist destination flocked by both national and international travel enthusiasts. Nagarkot is known mostly for its picnic spots which provide a beautiful view of the rising sun early in the morning and the hills surrounding the valley which seems to be floating in the clouds. Nagarkot’s highest point is elevated at 2175 meters which displays the entire valley in a miniature form.
