About this activity

This trek is fairly challenging but is manageable for people who are able to walk for around 6-7 hours a day with a light daypack. The trip begins with scenic drive from Kathmandu to Sighati, Dolakha district. It crosses the beautiful local villages, green forest, waterfall and rivers. The trail leads to the Rolwalling valley with Gaurishankar Mountain View. During this trek we enjoy magnificent Tso Rolpo Lake, Yalung Ri glacier, summit Pachermo peak and strenuous Tashi Lapcha pass. We descend to the Khumbu valley through the Thame, then trek heads towards the Sherpa headquarters of Namche bazar. And finally we take our flight from Lukla to Kathmandu.

Day 01: Airport pick up, Transfer to the hotel

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley city tour and Trek preparing day

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu (1350m.) to Dolakha to Shigati (950m.) Trek to Suri Dobhan

Day 04: Trek from Suri Dobhan to Jagat (1440m/4723 ft): 5/6 hrs.

Day 05: Trek Jagat to Simigaun (1,990m/6527 ft) :5 hrs
