The experience itself was out of this world. Our pilot Erick was incredibly delightful gave us so much information about the land and what we were seeing. The cabin and king crab were just a lovely added bonus to what was just a lovely unique experience that we got to share as a family. That being said. my experience with VIATOR was awful and I don't recommend using their services. I spend hours with customer services reps. who were ineffective and sloppy at best. I had to use the website but wouldn't for any further excursions .
Pilot was great. He flew close to the mountains to try and find some bears. Flew to an amazing tiny lake for a quick stop and enjoy the amazing breathtaking view. Crab lunch was amazing. Come hungry and leave stuffed, huge crab legs. While sitting on the dock waiting for our ride to the ship we saw 3 humpback whales swim right by us. It was amazing.
A great adventure. The flight into the Misty Fjord was very special. It is comfortable and the flight was smooth even with the misty weather. Enjoyed the lake landings and the wrap up stop at the lodge for the crab feast. All we could eat. We think it was a quality experience throughout and worth the price.
