What to Expect in Salmon-101 The Ultimate Salmon Tour
Its Facts, Humor, Games, Prizes, Food and More on the Ultimate Salmon Tour!
First you will want to try to check in 20 minutes before your scheduled tour time at 422 Mission Street at our main lobby booth and enjoy a fun backdrop of Ketchikan do your personal and family photos with our 40 pound king salmon named "Chinook" on our exclusive Ketchikan harbor photo set.
After photos you will then move to one of our theater/dining rooms where the next part of the salmon fun really begins. Your personal guide will start off your total salmon experience with some fun Ketchikan trivia & facts and information on the different ways that salmon in the rich pacific waters are caught.
During your presentation Everyone will be treated to 5 different types of Salmon prepared in various ways for your enjoyment, both a cold and hot plate will be served to everyone.
Continuing on your salmon 101 education, your guide will teach and show you each of the 5 different species of Salmon that are found here in Alaska. You will learn about each one of the salmon types with all of the fun interesting details and how each species have a unique impact on Alaska and the rest of the world.
