Itinerary
Day 1: Kigali-Musanze
Stop At: Kigali Genocide Memorial, KG 14 Ave, Kigali Rwanda
Our representative will pick from from Kigali Airport or your hotel in Kigali. Visit the Genocide Memorial Center in Kigali. The Kigali Genocide Memorial is the final resting place for more than 250,000 victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. It honors the memory of the more than one million Rwandans killed in 1994 through education and peace-building.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Volcanoes National Park, Musanze Kinigi, Ruhengeri Rwanda
After the genocide visit, transfer to Volcanoes National Park driving through a beautiful countryside and a home to the mountain gorillas.
Later take a visit to the Twin Lakes (Burera and Ruhondo). These Magnificent twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo and its Swamp Rugezi are the excellent photogenic, serene and scenic places for Bird watching activity.
Have dinner and overnight as you prepare for gorilla trekking o the next day.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Stop At: Volcanoes National Park, Musanze Kinigi, Ruhengeri Rwanda
In morning the morning after breakfast transfer to the Kinigi Park headquarters by 7:00 am where you will be briefed by park rangers about the rules concerning trekking. After briefing, start off with trekking along the paths in the bamboo forests, it is an amazing activity where it can take between 2 to 6 hours to track the mountain gorillas. When you meet the gorillas face to face you will watch them jumping from branch to branch, feed, play among other things; Only 1 hour is given to trekkers to watch the gentle giants. You will also see buffaloes, monkeys, birds, and elephants through the forests.
Later, transfer back to the lodge for lunch, check out and transfer back to Kigali .
