Itinerary

Day 1: Journey to Rubavu with visit Gisenyi Market and boat trip to (Napoleon or Amahoro ) islands

Pass By: Volcanoes National Park, Musanze Kinigi, Ruhengeri Rwanda
Early morning you will be taken or drive to Rubavu, you will be amazed by how good Rwandan roads (RN1, RN4) are ready for upper level tourism. From Kigali to Rubavu, there are 156-160 Km approximately 3 hours.

Pass By: Congo Nile Trail, Avenue de l'Independance, Rubavu Rwanda
Arriving in Gisenyi, you will visit hot spring of Nyamyumba and tour the Gisenyi Market to have a general idea of the town. Depending on arrangement made, you can acquire material for water sports at the lake near Kivu Serena Hotel. Boat rides inside the lake to Amahoro or Napoleon Islands are organized.
