Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Pass By: Mamula Fortress, Island Lastavica, Herceg-Novi, Herceg-Novi Municipality Montenegro

Herceg Novi bay

It is also home to Mamula, an uninhabited islet dominated by a former Austro-Hungarian fortress.

Stop At: Our Lady of the Rocks, Island in Boka Bay, Perast, Kotor Municipality 85336 Montenegro

Stop at the small island in the middle of the bay that is home to Our Lady of the Rocks Church. Legend has it the artificial island was created stone by stone from local fishermen who would lay stones upon a specific rock where shipwrecked crewmen saw her and decided to build a church in tribute.

Step inside the interior of this small, 15th century church to see a great marble altar holding an icon of Our Lady of the Rocks by famous Balkan painter Lovro Dobric. Adorning the walls are various Baroque paintings by well-known Kotor painter Tripo Kokolja, most notable among them being The Crowning of Mary, Mary's Death and Exaltation of the Holy Mother of God. Silver plaques with reliefs of Boka ships promised protection and help in troubles, and embroidery fashioned from the hair of a woman who lovingly crafted it while waiting for the return of her sailor husband is also on display.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Blue Grotto, Lustica bb, Herceg-Novi, Herceg-Novi Municipality 85340 Montenegro

While in Herceg Novi, take a refreshing dip in the iconic Blue Cave. Accessible only by boat, this cave is so named due to the way the light hits the bottom and makes the whole cave look blue

Yes, the trip was spoiled for us by the noise/ music blaring. What a shame....beautiful scenery, beautiful day, but the boat driver thought he was adding to the experience by pumping up the volume. We're probably old prudes, but it totally turned us off. He was personable and informative and showed us some amazing sites.

This was a wonderful way to view the bay of Kotor! We got to visit the Lady of the Rock church ( albeit only from the outside as it was peak tourist season) , see the old submarine base, swim in the Blue Cave, and see an old prison, as well as get some history from our guide, Savo. This completed our visit to the beautiful city of Kotor!

Beautiful new boat and accommodating driver - sea was rough so, with groups' consent, changed plan to not go to Blue Cave (a disappointment but a good call). Allowed more time at other sites. Sub base awesome as was church. A special thank you as manager not only recommended a restaurant but made reservation had employee personally escort us. Very grateful for the extra care!

This was the best tour ever ! We arrived in Kotor but due to slow tendering it took us over 2.5 hrs to get off the ship. We called them from the ship and they said no problem we will wait for you. They gave us the directions and were meeting us just like they said. Nano the boat driver was awesome, went to the amazing blue caves and the Lady of the Rock, submarine area. We saw everything and was amazing. Best way to see Kotor in a short period of time. The Blue Water Caves are amazing and can only be reached by boat. Our group of 12 were the only ones on the boat which made it amazing.

We were on a Holland America cruise and thought we would try to venture away from the cruise company tours and this worked out really well. The waterfront park is immediately to your left as you exit the cruise ship port. The tour operator was organized and had out names on their list and was operating 2 boats. Ours was brand new and Neno, our guide was great. The water was clean and calm. The church and the island are unique and he knew the history. Next we explored a Russian submarine cave, that was very cool and surprising since we didn't know it was part of the tour. The blue cave was pretty big and after we went in with the boat we all enjoyed a swim just outside the cave as it's not best to swim inside because of the exhaust fumes from tour boats build up in there. If you're not a comfortable swimmer, bring or ask for some sort of flotation. If you like to snorkel, bring your mask. All in all we think it was a great value. There was plenty of time after to visit the old city which is just across the street from the terminal. Hello to Neno, we hope you see this review and are keeping that new boat clean. : Rick and Carolyn
