This tour was very informative. The Museum mostly concentrated on the second world war in general and the effect on Krakow. There are a couple of rooms dedicated to Oscar Schindler, these were really interesting. There were video accounts from his workers, which made you realise that although he was a business man, his business became about saving lives. This was well worth a visit. I gave this 4 stars because of the large numbers of people, which made seeing the artefacts difficult at times.
This is a must see if you are going to Kraków, only a 10-15 minute stroll from the main square it’s all flat so a lovely walk and the factory was an amazing place to visit
The ticket received was made to look like an actual ticket BUT in very small lettering it says it is NOT a ticket but you have to print off the actual ticket OR go to the nearest viator office to redeem it. We were almost turned awsy from the attraction as we thought the downloaded ticket was the actual ticket. Needs to be much clearer OR dont make it look like an actual ticket that is sent to your phone !
A lovely engaging museum. Make sure you book online first and leave 2 hours for your visit. The film was excellent inside the museum and there are 3 floors to explore. A small cafe and easily accessible by tram and a short walk. Great visit.
Informative exhibition centered around a Krakow WW2 perspective, includes build up to German invasion and then occupation years plus special reference to Schlinder and plight of Polish political prisoners and Jews forced into the Nazi Labour schemes. Well worth a visit.
Despite following the instructions , the museum would not accept the e-voucher issued by Viator. We had to pay again to visit the attraction which was a very worthwhile visit. I would recommend taking a guided tour. The only disappointing aspect was the failure of aviator to respond to email about the e-voucher issue
Not very well signed all the way around, cafe was hopeless could not find anyone to serve!
We learnt about the history of Poland for the Polish people and the Polish Jewish people. The film shown is worth seeing in full and the list of survivors and memorial in the museum, that Oscar Schindler helped is very moving.
We were pleased to have booked the tickets online. Although to get the tickets we had to go to the Market square, on google maps the shop is in fact on the other side of the square from where we were shown. The ticket not only gets you into Schindlers Factory, but the pharmacy and the Gestapo Museum. Schindlers museum, is very close to the Jewish memorial and the left over Jewish Ghetto wall. There was a fair queue to enter Schindlers Factory Museum so we were happy to miss this queue, with the ticket. Schindlers Factory museum is really interesting, in the first room there is a film available for you to watch which gives you human in-sight to the factory. The exhibits were easy to understand, available in both English and Polish. There were interactive elements as well as visual and special stories throughout the museum. I would definitely recommended this museum.
