About this activity
The exhibition is divided into three main parts:
• Art of Old Poland. XII - XVIII century - the most valuable exhibits are Gothic sculptures including the aforementioned Madonna,
• Art of the former Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth - one of the oldest and most valuable collections of Eastern Church icons in Europe - it's worth seeing!
• Krakow at your fingertips - a collection of sculptures and beautiful fragments of various buildings from all over Poland (for example, portals or royal tombstones), which we can finally admire by devoting all our attention to them. Gathered in the fantastically restored cellars of the Palace.In the beautifully restored cellars of the Bishop Erazm Ciołek Palace, visitors can admire 800 fragments of the most valuable architectural sculptures from all over Poland, originating from such places as St. Mary's Church, Krakow Cathedral or Gniezno Cathedral.
