About this activity

After being picked up at 9am from your Siem Reap hotel, you will meet your guide and be transported out to mingle with friendly villagers. See families farming, basket-weaving, digging wells, and making rice wine, and experience what daily life is like in a small Cambodian village.

Throughout the tour you are welcome to take photos, and learn about sustainable development issues like employment and accessing clean water. Visit a local school that's full of waving, smiling children, and peek inside a Buddhist temple where villagers go to worship. At the end of this 4-hour, guided experience, your tour ends when you're transported back to your Siem Reap hotel.

There were only the three of us on this tour and our guide and driver were great. To see the true Cambodian people you must do this tour. We saw hoiw the locals live and what they do to survive away from the tourist traps. The people were all friendly and often waved to us with big smiles on there face. To see how they live is truly worth doing. My wife and I highly recommend thius tour to all. Phil and Janine Griffin Australia
