Langkawi Archipelago Jet Ski Tour Including Dayang Bunting Island
4 h
About this activity
Choose a morning or afternoon departure time, and meet your small group at a designated spot on Cenang Beach. After a safety briefing and instruction on how to operate your Jet Ski, hop aboard and follow an experienced guide who leads your convoy over the tranquil waters of the Andaman Sea to eight islands in the Langkawi archipelago. You can ride solo or double up with a partner, depending on the option you select upon booking.
After a short stop at Tepur Island for a check-in and some advice from your guide on riding in formation, continue to the region’s second largest island and its star attraction: Dayang Bunting Island. Arrive at the lookout point for a glimpse of the pregnant maiden’s silhouette for which the island was named, formed by the outline of hills and rocky outcrops on one side of Dayang Bunting Lake — the largest freshwater lake in Malaysia.
Hear about the legend of a lovely fairy princess who became pregnant after drinking the water, and then follow your guide on a 5-minute jungle trek to the lake, which is separated from the sea by a thin ridge of limestone. Enjoy free time to swim, or rent a solar boat or paddle boat. For those looking to unwind, just dip your feet in the water on a dock and enjoy the lush surroundings.
When it's time, get back on your Jet Ski and speed over to the Fjords, a cluster of jungle-clad islands about one nautical mile (2 km) away. Skim across the crystal-clear waters between rocky islets and secret coves to arrive at another dip-worthy spot where you'll be surrounded by 360-degree views of jungle terrain.
Catch the breathtaking sight of eagles soaring overhead while your guide describes the flora and fauna. A mushroom-shaped island, limestone structures, stalactites, mangroves, and other vegetation unique to Langkawi are among the geological and biological wonders you'll learn more about.
Before riding back to the starting point, stop at an uncharted island for a short swim and snorkeling session (depending on water conditions) to top off your half-day Jet Ski adventure.

Overall very good and fun. If you calculate hourly, its cheaper than renting a private jet ski and even then you would only stay close by. Visited nice areas. I have no idea if we hit all the areas mentioned in the advertisement though. The guide was a nice guy overall pleasant. Some hand signals were confusing as his explanations did not match..... We were frustrated that one group was super slow and kept slowing us down. It would be better if the tour asked guests questions about their experience and overall comfort with speed or other barriers. I think the machines are toned down as we maxed at 35mph. The ones at my home city can go up to 90km/h. Got off at an island to jump into a special lake. Beware of monkeys that steal your water bottles to drink from. I think they should offer a warning letter during booking. Its important to know never to look the monkey in the eye or show teeth to them with a smile as they see it as aggression.
Pat, was such a great tour guide and not only did he let us go crazy in the middle of the ocean he took us too tiny islands and let us get off and speak to locals and try there bbq food Nd took us to pregnant lady lake which was included so overall it was amazing.
Such a cool and exhilarating ride!! Was a ton of fun scouting through islands. Must bring a few bottlea of water, you will get thirsty out there. The company even provided a souvenir cap and complimentary pictures out there.
I went on the 2pm tour and this was the best thing I did in Langkawi , great tour guide with a good sense of humour. Tour was good for everyone and the Seadoo skis use the learners keys so they are not too fast / powerful for the inexperienced rider but quick enough for others. Recommend going solo as the ski performs better and with 2 people on the ride can be a bit rough if the sea gets choppy. Great tour , well done Mega sports. Will definitely do this again when in Langkawi.
