Start your day by being picked up at your centrally located hotel in a comfortable car or van to fit your group of friends or family. Relax on the short drive there and take in the city vibes of multicultural Kuala Lumpur city.
It’s time to get off at the famous Batu Caves! First enjoy the sight of the Lord Murugan statue and head towards the Temple Cave. Your private guide will walk you through the most interesting stories as you’ll be amazed at the colors and details in the cave.
Go up the stairs towards the Ramayana Cave at your own pace as your private guide shares more stories and fun facts with you. Take a close look at the friendly monkeys that jump around observing the visitor. Bonus: the temple at the end of the stairs is completely worth. Wonder at how gorgeous this natural limestone cave is and head down for a refreshing coconut drink when you’re ready.
Next stop is the Selayang Hot Spring, a popular place for the locals in the area that drive there to use the mineral waters and keep healthy. Follow their examples and dip your feet in the water for a refreshing feeling!
Your personal guide will then take you to the Kanching Waterfalls, the 7 levels waterfalls that show how impressive nature can be. Decide together with your host how much you want to visit and enjoy your time in the shadow. We had a great tour with Povan, he knew so much about the area and history and was a really funny guide. We loved all the facts about Batu Caves and the various empires and invasions. The hot springs were a great slice of local life, and the waterfalls were full of hidden gems. Interesting, personalised, and informative. Thanks Povan!
Great tour. Would have been better if our guide climbed the stairs at the Batu Caves to explain the temples and caves as indicated in the tour info. Waterfalls are beautiful and the hot springs very hot. Guide was knowledgeable and personable but felt a bit stranded in the caves. Enjoyed the local meal and coconut water.
Sid was our guide and so nice. Tour just as stated. We started at the Batu Caves and next was the hot Springs and last the waterfall. Be sure to pack a swimsuit if you want to jump in the waterfall- theres bathrooms. And a umbrella as it poured as we were leaving. Great tour !!
Great tour and awesome views. The cave was really quite something. The steps weren't that bad, but I did get scared a bit of the heights. The monkeys were a surprise , so many of them!
Our guide Hoopy contacted us via Whatsapp one day before. Tour was great. Hoopy was very communicative and gave us lots of information, suggestion and advice. Tour was a bit tiring due to so many stairs. Recommended for persons in good health. Hoopy was also great. My husband enjoyed his nasi lemak and I, being vegetarian, Hoopy made sure they prepared got some tasty vegetarian fried glass noodles for me.
We really enjoyed our tour with Sid! He is personable, friendly, super chill and has a wealth of information about KL. I felt like we were hanging out with a friend, instead of the typical tour.
I thoroughly enjoyed my private tour. My guide was personable and a lot of fun. He even made an adjustment to my itinerary since I had already visited the Batu Caves the previous day. I would highly recommend this tour!
Our guide Joel arrived 5 minutes early and rang to let us know. Car was clean and tidy and manner of driving was very good. Joel was very knowledgable and explained the points of interest on the way to Batu Caves. Caves were very good... lots of steep steps so be prepared if your not as fit as you used to be. Well worth the effort though. Upon coming back down you can have a cold drink or coconut water fresh as chopped in front of you. Then onto the springs... very hot water with lots of green algae.... good for the skin. But the best part for me was the water falls. Again lots of steps and uneven ground towards the top but well worth it... dont forget your trunks / towel ... crystal clear water deep enough to swim in if you like. Joel bought some peanuts and tiny bananas which we hand fed to the monkeys.. amazing experience. Then we stopped at a local cafe at the bottom for regional dish and cold drink... again very good. Would highly recommend this trip. About 5 and a half hours in total most of it spent at the attractions.
