About this activity
You will be picked up from your hotel lobby located in Kuala Lumpur and head to the Petronas Twin Towers building, a distinctive icon universally associated with Kuala Lumpur. The 88-floor towers have a facade of steel and glass that distinctly reflect images of Islamic Art. Designed by a South American architect, the base of Twin Towers houses a shopping mall and the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.
You will then visit Lake Gardens (Perdana Botanical Garden), with some beautiful trees, man-made waterfalls and playground. We will stop at a war memorial the National Monument. It is a huge bronze statue, muscular in nature, with warriors defending the wounded and fallen. National Mosque (Masjid Negara), a magnificent structure that is a unique embodiment of modern Islamic art with stunning traditional elements.
We will explore Kuala Lumpur Railway Station, a lovely majestic palace once nearby the National Mosque. Chinese Thean Hou Temple, built in the classic style of Mainland China. Being one of the oldest and greatest temples in Southeast Asia, this landmark attracts millions of tourists from across the globe each year.
If you are more into shopping than sightseeing, you can easily omit any of these places and go for a fascinating journey into the depth of Central Market, where you can spend your time looking through artwork, souvenirs, and batik masterpieces. Chinatown filled with countless Chinese shops is an ideal place to hunt for everything from cheap spices to gadgets. Little India is a small Indian island inside the bustling streets of Kuala Lumpur.
Here you can try fantastic Indian dishes, look for bright saris and enjoy the glittery stalls filled with trinkets and jewellery of all kinds. The second most desired visiting place in Kuala Lumpur is the Batu Caves. Dedicated to Lord Murugan, this Hindu shrine holds a magnificent 155ft (47meter) statue erected in his honour. 272 stairs lead to the massive Temple Cave with a spectacular 328ft (100meter) high ceiling. The cave is filled with statues of Hindu gods and intricate paintings illuminated by the holes in the rock of the ceiling.
It is also possible to visit the Royal Selangor Pewter Factory and Visitor Centre where one can delve into the process of pewter manufacturing and learn about its properties, while enjoying the fascinating pewter museum located on the premises of the factory.
We will bring you for Lunch at Malay/Indian/Chinese Restaurant according to your choice, we are recommended Lunch at Olive Tree or Jayapur Mahal (Indian Buffet Dinner).
You will be dropped off back to your hotel after finishing the tour.
