About this activity
Enjoy pickup from your Kuala Lumpur or Putrajaya hotel lobby at 9am. Your English-speaking, professional driver will offer you a list of top attractions in both cities, allowing you to plan your itinerary for this tour.
Your tour will start in Putrajaya where you will have a stop at the taman Warisan Agricultural Heritage Park, a living museum of fruit, rubber, cocoa, palm oil, herbs, and more. Afterwards, you'll continue on to see some of Putrajaya's most famous landmarks including the pink-domed Putra Mosque. Fashioned from beautiful rose granite, the monument rises 250 feet into the air and is one of the tallest landmarks in the region. Next, you'll visit Perdana Putra (the Prime Minister's Office), also known as 'The White House of Malaysia", home to several key governmental agencies. Afterward, enjoy a short cruise across Putrajaya Lake while enjoying the beautiful scenery.
From here, you will be transported to Kuala Lumpur to see the highlights of the city. Start your tour with a visit to the Batu Caves, one of the most popular attractions in the area. Thousands make pilgrimages to visit this limestone hill and series of caves - if you have enough energy, get ready to climb 272 steps to explore the largest cave.
Next, see the Petrons Twin Towers and take a walk on the Sky Bridge to reach the observation deck. You will be amazed by the panoramic views of this stunning city. Afterward, visit the Galeri Petronas (Petronas Gallery), home to many beautiful paintings designed by local and foreign artists alike. See the National Museum which provides an overview of Malaysian culture and history. The displays range from free-standing tableaux showing everything cultural events to crafts to flora and fauna.
From here, head to the Thean Hou Temple and national Mosque. Both are gorgeous structures and offer a glimpse into the religious side as your guide provides commentary and stories of the area. You will pass by the old railway station to reach Independent Square. Take pictures around Sultan Abdul Samad Building and admire the well-managed older structures nearby as well.
If there is time, you can take a moment to see the Batik Factory and Pewter Art Factory as well. Your tour will conclude with drop off back at your hotel in Kuala Lumpur or Putrajaya at approximately 7pm.
